Bentley's Official Portal for Enhancements and Good Ideas is their Ideas Portal:

It's their primary public-facing repository for good ideas.
You can and should look for you idea - check to see if it's already there.
- If so, Vote Up.
- If not, Log an Idea there.
What happens after that is unknown to the public.
I think our purpose here, as OpenRoads Implementors and Administrators, is to put our collective thumbs on the scale.
What are our highest priorities?
I haven't figured out the technology plan to host our own - yet. In the meantime, I can gather the information via email (don't worry, the data is collected into a database (not just some jumble of emails)).

But I'm not joking.
Intergraph/Bentley had product steering committees in the past. Not now.
We really don't - to my knowledge - have a place where we can essentially "unionize" to push hard, together, for things we think are really important.
If there is a forum in place somewhere, let's join it. Someplace where we can control the narrative. If it's an existing social site that gives us what we want, let's organize there.
If not, we can do it here. (This site is powered by Joomla, which runs over 30% of the web. Anything we want to do we can do here (authorship, forums, user access-levels, etc. Here are some I've built with Joomla: CivilHelp.com and GoOutLookUP.net).
We'll have to set some objectives, some means, some rules. Privacy concerns are important.
Our overall goal will be to be a Force for Good for Bentley (where we define The Good, of course).
I have zero inclination and will have little tolerance for Bentley bashing here. We'll be here to solve problems.
Some topics to consider:
While I like the idea of "full-public anonymous access", logins here will likely be required to post.
We will have some need to have non-public conversations and we need to moderate public content.
Who shall join? Anybody? Invite-only? Some vetting? An email is required to login in. If folks use a work email, how will we protect their privacy or non-public comments?
